We know your time is valuable. That’s why the B&F Medical Laboratory opens at 7:00 AM sharp—allowing you to complete your health screenings before your workday begins.
Many common blood tests, including Glucose (Blood Sugar) and Lipid Panels (Cholesterol), require you to fast for 8 to 12 hours. Fasting ensures that the food you eat doesn’t temporarily spike your levels, giving your doctor a clear “baseline” of your health.
What is included in a Routine Screening?
- CBC (Complete Blood Count): Checks for anemia and signs of infection.
- Kidney & Liver Function: Ensures your vital organs are processing waste correctly.
- HbA1c: A critical test for our diabetic patients to measure long-term sugar control.
No appointment is necessary for most routine blood work. Simply walk into our Pasea Estate or Wickham’s Cay locations and let our professional phlebotomists take care of the rest.
